William W.N. Tsang

William Tsang serves as the Head of Research and Portfolio Manager at Chartwell Capital. He oversees the Company’s equity research team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. William started his career as a software engineer, developing electronic products in the manufacturing industry. He then made a career change and joined a real estate company, where he conducted property analysis and made investments. In 2007, he joined Chartwell as an Investment Analyst. Over the years, his investment coverage has included sectors such as property, industrials, technology and consumer staples.

With a variety of Asian stocks on his radar, William’s technical background has also enabled Chartwell to build its proprietary valuation and research system to further streamline the Company’s investment process. As Head of Research, he also takes on the responsibility of coordinating closely with the Company’s research team and training junior analysts.
