William W.N. Tsang

William holds dual responsibilities at Chartwell Capital as Head of Research and Co-Portfolio Manager. As Head of Research, he manages Chartwell’s research process and the development of the team. As a Co-Portfolio Manager, he plays a crucial role in stock selection.

Since joining the company in 2007, William has applied his training in engineering and computer science to develop and structure Chartwell’s proprietary valuation and research system— to leverage on human input and maximize efficiency in research analysis. William’s contribution towards research is his in-depth knowledge on the TMT and semiconductor sectors.

William, who is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, was born and raised in Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States.
