In a recent interview with Hong Kong’s TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited), Chartwell’s William Tsang shared his views on investing in unicorn companies. “Global unicorns have grown 10x over the past 6 years, driving up the valuation of many listed companies in the same field. While these venture companies expand rapidly with high growth potential, we should keep in mind that only 30% of them get listed successfully,” Tsang said. One must therefore understand the risk involved before blindly jumping into these opportunities.
