In the absence of a travel bubble between the two regions, Chartwell engages with travel authorities, the Thai representatives of Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and Hong Kong’s signature media, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), to promote the re-opening hotspots to potential visitors. “The tourism sector is a rebound story to watch in a post-COVID-19 environment in Thailand. Instead of passively investing in companies that will benefit from this, I’ve been actively working with different authorities and media outlets in Thailand and Hong Kong to cross promote each other,” said Chartwell’s Ronald Chan in his recent interview with Thailand’s Salika.
