Conrad Yan is a Partner at Albamen Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on renewable energy and digital infrastructure in China.
Conrad serves as Vice Chair of the CFA Institute’s Capital Markets Policy Council. The Council advises the CFA Institute’s research and advocacy team on current and emerging policy issues, considering the integrity of capital markets and implications for financial stability. He also sits on the advisory board of the Mercer CFA Institute Global Pension Index.
Conrad is the immediate past Secretary and Board Member of the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute (PPI), a global educational non-profit organization that convenes pension and investment thought leaders for in-depth dialogue and knowledge sharing on issues facing long-term institutional investors, representing more than USD 25 trillion in assets.
Prior to the formation of Albamen, Conrad established the Hong Kong office of Campbell Lutyens, a leading infrastructure fund placement and secondary adviser, and spearheaded its activities in the Asia-Pacific region. Earlier in his career, Conrad served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management and AIG Investments. He began his career with Fidelity Investments, where he launched the first member-choice retirement product in Hong Kong, which later became the industry standard.
Conrad holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
